Aaron Jones has been getting a decent amount of fantasy coverage this offseason, but it seems as if he’s still being slept on in fantasy drafts. It may just be me, but the fact that he’s still available in the third round after players like Derrick Henry and Devonta Freeman, doesn’t seem very realistic to me.

New head coach Matt LaFleur will help bring new energy to the offense for the Packers. Jones had a decent fantasy season last year, but was not bzable to grasp his full fantasy value. He still has plenty of room to perform much better in 2019. Jones had 133 carries for 728 yards in 2018, as well as 26 receptions for 206 yards. He averaged a hefty 5.5 YPC and with more opportunity, should easily be a 1,000 yard rusher for the Pack, the first since Eddie Lacy in 2014.

I can see him having a career season, and help lead people to a fantasy championship. The Packers have long been a pass-first offense, and it should help open up opportunities for Jones.

Jones has a current ADP of 3.08, according to Fantasy Football Calculator. He is being drafted as the RB19, which I feel that he’ll drastically out-perform. I feel like you can draft him with confidence as somebody who may bring high RB2 numbers for you, with potential for even greater numbers.

2019 Stat Projection: 185/ 1,015/10 rushing and 37/325/4 receiving
