Pick: Kansas State ML (-160) vs. TCU

Reasoning: The BIG12 regular season champions will look to continue their dominance in round two of their conference tournament today. At 1:30 Eastern Time, The Horned Frogs of TCU will play their second game in two days, after beating OSU last night. The Wildcats swept the season series and will try to make it (3-0) against Texas Christian today. Even without Dean Wade, who K-State is accustomed to playing without, I believe the Wildcats are a lock in this one. It will once again come down to defense. A TCU team who already struggles to score the ball faces an incredible uphill battle, while trying to score on Barry Brown and company. Expect a low scoring affair, with Kansas State getting the win and moving onto the next round.

Pick: UCONN (-1) vs. South Florida

Reasoning: The Huskies finally got their leader back. Jalen Adams, who missed several weeks with a leg injury has returned to Connecticut’s lineup. If you’ve watched AAC basketball this year, you know Adams is a difference maker. I believe when Jalen Adams plays, it makes The Huskies a complete team. Today, in the opening round of the American Athletic Conference Tournament, expect UCONN to put South Florida to rest. Although South Florida is a great rebounding team, they do not have the scoring to out duel a team such as Connecticut. Watch as the guard play for UCONN excels, and leads The Huskies to an easy win to keep their tournament hopes alive.
