Pick: Villanova (-4) at St. Johns

Reasoning: This Sunday brings us a quality BIG East battle between Villanova and St. John’s. The Villanova Wildcats are top dog in the BIG East, and have been for awhile now. Winning 17 straight conference games until this past Saturday when Marquette handed Nova their first conference lost in what seemed like forever. The Wildcats then bounced back with an 18 point victory over Providence, and will look to do the same today in New York. As for the Red Storm of St. John’s, they are no slouch themselves. With a record of (11-3) at home while averaging 81.3 PPG, this makes the Red Storm a tough matchup today for Villanova. However, today I expect the three point shooting of Villanova to out-duel St. John’s on their home floor. The Cats are (8-2) in their last ten games ATS. Expect that trend to continue today as Villanova lights it up from three to silence Shamorie Ponds and company of St. John’s.

Pick: Colorado (-5) vs. Arizona

Reasoning: After opening conference play with a weak schedule and winning four straight games. The Arizona Wildcats are (1-7) since that point, and are struggling to keep up in a brutal PAC 12 conference. On the other hand, it’s Colorado, who has won four straight games. These teams are completely opposite, one hot and one cold. Expect the Buffaloes to keep rolling in route to a win over a depleted Arizona team. This one could get out of hand early, expect a double digit Colorado home win.
