Line 1: Pistons ML (-400) vs. Knicks
Line 2: Kings ML (-150) vs. Heat
Parlay Odds: (+105)
Reasoning: It’s Friday folks, which means it is time for a parlay. Tonight, we are rolling with a couple home favorites to cash in this parlay. Starting with the Detroit Pistons, playing the early game Friday evening against the renewed New York Knicks. In this matchup, Detroit is the clear favorite. With dominant post play in Blake Griffin and Andre Drummond, expect the Pistons to be bullies in the paint all night long. This game could get out of hand quick, as the Knicks have made several moves at the trade deadline. Bringing in new pieces such as Dennis Smith Jr. and releasing Enes Kanter leave the Knicks in an odd spot with little to none team chemistry. The Pistons have won five straight games against the depleted Knicks. Don’t overthink this one, and let the Pistons complete part one of the parlay.
In the night cap of Friday’s NBA action, the Kings play host to the Heat. Sacramento is coming off a very active showing during the final days of the trade deadline, acquiring Harrison Barnes and Alec Burks. Which should end up helping the Kings on both the offensive and defensive ends. On the other hand, Miami traded away two of their best three point shooters, and in my opinion was not a win now move. Currently, the Miami backcourt is a mess, which is why we could see De’aaron Fox have a big game tonight in route to a Kings win. I expect this young Kings team to get the job done and cash in the final line of the parlay.
